GENERAL QUESTIONS:
Q: The Treasure Masters packaging mentioned PRINT MASTER but I cannot locate that link on your website, what should I do?
A: Treasure Masters is no longer using the PRINT MASTER software referenced on the packaging. Please download the FREE PrintingPress software by following the instructions below.
Q: How do I download the FREE PrintingPress software?
A: Visit the FREE PrintingPress Software Download page on Mountaincow.com and click the Add To Cart button to add the Download 60-day Limited-feature Trial Edition to your cart. Then follow the DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS printed in the cart (see below):

- Complete checkout with a valid email address.
- Open the order confirmation email.
- Click on the download link.
- Enter the Download Code from the email into the website form and click Begin Download.
Make sure the entire file downloaded, it should be around 75MB, and try running PP22MPSDownload.exe. If you see an error that says it is not a valid Win32 application that means it did not complete the download and you should click the Begin Download button again. If you see any other error, please contact Mountaincow technical support with the complete error message and we will assist you further.
Q: What can I do with the FREE PrintingPress software?
A: The software makes it quick and easy to view your Great Papers!® or Treasure Masters® stationery on screen, including flat and folded cards, addressed and reply envelopes, letterhead, trifold brochures, 2-up invitation and 4-up postcard sheets, and individual place cards. You can type your wording, style, color and format your text, add photos and graphics, print your cards, enter your addresses, print your envelopes, track your RSVPs and more. Q: How long can I use the FREE PrintingPress software?
A: The FREE software runs for 60 days, after which you may purchase the software for $14.99 or upgrade to a full version of PrintingPress software for $29.99. The full version enables different features depending on which version you purchase.
Q: What are the minimum system requirements for the FREE PrintingPress software?
A: You need a PC running Windows XP or Vista® to install and run the software. The software does not run on Apple Macintosh® computers. Visit Mountaincow.com to view the complete list of system requirements for the FREE PrintingPress software.
Q: What are some of the limitations of the FREE PrintingPress software?
A: The FREE version of the PrintingPress software works exclusively with the included Great Papers!® and Treasure Masters® project files for 60 days. The other versions of PrintingPress software include:
- The Full version ($29.99) is required if you want to create a new blank design, add additional pieces of stationery to a project, change the sizes or layouts of stationery, or download a project from Mountaincow's monthly email newsletter.
- The Platinum version ($59.99) is required if you want to design monograms, print two-sided envelopes in one pass through the printer, or use advanced design tools.
- The Extreme version ($129.99) is required to print multi-up place cards sheets, address label sheets, or business card sheets, create your own borders, patterns, and use advanced text styles and formatting.
- The Professional version ($999.00) offers multiple address books and customer folders, and is required if you have a professional imprinting business.
Q: How do I get started using the FREE PrintingPress software?
A: Below are some basic tips to help you get started:
- Open your project: Choose New Project in the File menu and click on Create a new project based on a sample project, and choose Great Papers!® or Treasure Masters® and browse for the name of the stationery you bought. You can also click the button at the bottom of the New Project window that says Find By Item Number and then enter the item number from your stationery packaging label to locate the appropriate project.
- Design your card: Type your text, set the font, style and color using the text toolbar, and choose Insert Image in the Image menu to add photos or other graphics to your design. Choose Print Preview in the File menu to see how your card will print, and choose Print in the File menu to send a test print to a piece of plain paper cut to size. Note that the Great Papers!® and Treasure Masters® background images included in the templates do not print because the designs are already printed on the stationery.
- Address your envelopes: View the Address Book and choose New Address in the Address Book menu to enter your addresses manually, or choose Import Addresses to import them from an Excel Comma Separated Value (*.csv) file. Select Choose Names for Mailing List in the Address Book menu to select the names you want to include in your mailing list for this project. View the Stationery and click on an envelope and choose Print Preview in the File menu and click Next repeatedly to preview all your addressed envelopes. Choose Print in the File menu when you are ready to print your addressed envelopes.
- Print place cards: View the Mailing List and click on an entry in the list and choose Add Guest in the Mailing List menu to mark the guest as having RSVPed and bring up the Guest window. Click on the guest's name and click Edit to modify how the name will print and add a table name or number and click OK. View the Stationery and click on your place card and choose Print Preview in the File menu and click Next repeatedly to preview all your named place cards. Choose Print in the File menu when you are ready to print your place cards. Make sure you detach the place cards and feed them individually into your printer unless you are using the Extreme version of PrintingPress.
Q: Why didn't I get an email with the activation link in it?
A: Please make sure you add the free download to your cart and then complete the checkout and order confirmation steps. The email with the download link and download code is sent to you automatically. If you do not see if, please check your bulk or junk email folder, and white list emails from Mountaincow.com by adding us to your email address book.
Q: How do I save my project?
A: Changes you make to projects and addresses are automatically saved in the program's database so you do not need to do anything to save your work. If you wish you can save a backup project file by choosing Export Project in the File menu.
Q: How do I access my project again?
A: The next time you run the software your previous project will open automatically. If you wish to work on a different project, choose Open Project or Open Recent Project in the File menu.
Q: How do I print my address labels, business cards, and full sheet of place cards?
A: Only the Extreme version of our software supports printing full sheets of business cards, place cards and address labels. You can print place cards on the free download version by first detaching them so they print individually. Visit http://www.mountaincow.com/shop.SW.PX.html to upgrade to the extreme version.

Q: Where can I find instructions on how to learn how to use the FREE PrintingPress software?
A: Choose Online Tour in the Help menu to visit Mountaincow.com for a brief tour displaying the features of the software. Choose User Guide in the Help menu for detailed instructions on using each feature of the software. Choose Technical Support in the Help menu to visit the Mountaincow.com Technical Support Center for answers to your questions. If you cannot locate an answer, enter your question into our website feedback form and we will email you a response within 1-2 business days.
Q: I am having difficulty printing, where can I find additional instructions?
A: Visit the printing tips article on Mountaincow.com for assistance with setting up your printer and printing envelopes.
Q: How do I save my projects?
A: PrintingPress saves your work automatically, including typing and formatting changes to stationery, address book and mailing list changes. There is no need to explicitly save your work, however you can save a back up project file by choosing Export Project in the File menu.
Q: How do I view the stationery I purchased on screen so I can design and print?
A: Choose New Project in the File menu and click on Create a new project based on a sample project, and choose Great Papers!® or Treasure Masters® and browse for the name of the stationery you bought. You can also click the button at the bottom of the New Project window that says Find By Item Number and then enter the item number from your stationery packaging label to locate the project.
Q: Why do I have to download the Microsoft.Net Framework software to run with your program?
A: The Microsoft .NET framework is a required component of Windows that the software uses. It is included standard in some versions of Windows and needs to be installed separately on others.
Q: Will I get a virus from your software download?
A: No, our software is developed in a clean environment, digitally signed and checksummed so it will not install if it has been modified maliciously.
Q: Is there spyware attached to your software?
A: No, we do not develop spyware. Our software has been available for 6 years and Mountaincow has been written up in over 100 magazines, books and reviews. Visit http://www.mountaincow.com/news.html for more information.
Q: How long will the download take?
A: It only takes 2 to 5 minutes on high speed broadband connections. It will take longer over dial-up, but the download window should estimate the time remaining for you based on the speed of your connection.
Q: How do I get updates to the software?
A: The software is configured to check for updates every 30 days. These updates will be downloaded automatically when you run the software, and you will be asked if you wish to install the updates. Updates may include new projects as well as fixes to the software, so we recommend you accept any updates that we make available.
